As always I'm starving and the taste of chicken comes to my mouth and I want some Chinese cooked fried chicken. Opposed to southern or fast food fried chicken. I do have 3 Chinese America faves in Laurel and Wennys is one of them. I enjoy their professionalism, their cleanliness, and diversity in their employment. And their food is good.
I started to get on here and vent about wanting a 3 chicken wing lunch combo and because I upgraded to lo mein, my meal became $10 and im mad. Because I'm cheap. And because they basically charged two separate fees opposed to an upgrade. Example: you can get chicken wings with rice or fried for $6.45 just charge me $1.50 extra NOT a whole small PLAIN lo mein.
Well, I vented. You read. Mission accomplished. I murmured that I wouldn't come back... I will.

Service horrible MANAGEMENT even worse condones and makes excuses for employees horrific treatment towards customers. Placed delivery order and when was 2 hrs late called n employee ( who was american speaking) told me to act like an adult and deal with it. Hung up on me 3 times finally manager answers and says it's language problem and well don't order from there anymore. Delivery people r nice. FOOD GREASY n full of Msg. So needless to say I'm done. So if u continue with this place trust me you will get treated like crap eventually. So y lower your standards to make people who could careless RICHER!!

Been living in Laurel for years. Wennys was always good reliable Chinese take out. Today....I ordered basic items. Wings n fries. Chicken fried rice, shrimp and broccoli. FOOD WAS GROSS. Chicken barely fried. Not crisp soggy. Same with fries. Shrimp are now tiny and broccoli was half raw. New owners I suspect but they just lost my business for good. Bring the original Wennys back or come teach these newbies. Barely anyone in there and they used to stay packed. Go elsewhere

Their customer service is the worse!! I ordered a steak and cheese and fries and it took almost 2 hours to deliver. I called after an hour to ask about my order for them to lie and say they were checking with the driver. Then I wait to call back and I couldn't get through as if they blocked my number. DONT Waste your time!! Horrible customer service!!!!!!

Orange chicken tasted like it was heated up and very dry. I couldn't eat it. I never write reviews, but this time I felt like I wasted my $10.
